A classic style can either be a facsimile of the bygone decade or an interpretation of the magic that the era beheld. It can be either boring and predictable or modernised and characteristic.
In the August issue of British Vogue, Kate Moss, photographer Mario Testino and stylist Lucinda Chambers tell a story that celebrates the aura of the past while dictating trends for the upcoming season.
I wanted to reach out to my readers and really get a feel on who is checking out my site! I advertised a style submission via twitter so regular girls could show the world what their day-to-day style is. This is my first time doing something like this but I was shocked at the amount of supporters I came across. I thank all of you (:
Style like no other, flow compared to the 80s drug era, Mullah Mugzie is the definition of dope. Raised in Charlotte, NC one of the fastest growing cities in the country, the young 19 year old artist is rapidly building a buzz by painting pictures with his innovative wordplay & story telling, a rare gift seen in artist such as Lupe Fiasco, the early lil' Wayne and the great Jay-z himself. Born in Queens, NY but raised in the queen city allowed mugzie to get a taste of two totally different worlds. The city of Charlotte is where he was first introduced to a team of young ambitious individuals that would soon be known as FlyShade, the future of a city claimed by none. Rasheed Burke, also known as Sheed and the powerhouse of FlyShade took Mugzie under his wing as his little brother. Feeding him knowledge & opening his eyes up to new territory to benefit his music career, Rasheed's growing hustle has become an example for the young artist. Continuously sketching out the blueprint for success FlyShade has started building their structure with Mugzie as the basis. Building as they go making a name for themselves & their new product; Mullah Mugzie.
