Jil Sanders RTW Menswear Spring 2011

I think this is DOPE. It also reminds me of American Apparel.

Venus Williams in lace?

Venus Williams' outfit for the 2010 French Open was a bit revealing. She wore a black lace outfit with red lining in it and nude tights under. I don't believe in there being a specific dress code in tennis. As long as one is comfortable and can play their best, it should not matter. This outfit was more on the sexy side though. Good job Venus! (:

Artist Spotlight: CC Merit

The South is home to many talented artists such as Outkast,Lil Wayne, TI and a host of other prolific writers. They're known for their distinct and influential sound. C.C.Merit brings a sound of his own to the arena of rap. This South Carolina native has alot to offer the new generation of music lovers. At a recent interview C.C.Merit was asked what we're his influences? He simply said "MUSIC. I make what feels good in my soul at that point in time. It's alot of things that touch the soul of a person. I've found it." Still unsigned he’s looking to make a lot of noise in the music industry. Stay on the look out for C.C.Merit. TheGrindContinues

Artist Spotlight: Kassanova

Bio:

Kevin ‘Kassanova’ Davis was born in Montgomery, Alabama. Kassanova moved to Colorado Springs in 1996. Since moving to Colorado Springs he had been singing in the local church choir which slowly turn into playing the drums for Sunday services at the age of 14. It was in that transition that he learned about the importance of a beat and musical instruments in a song. At the age of 16 the pastor of the church approached him with the idea of learning how to engineer the mixing board for services. After excepting the opportunity he discovered the important of blending music with vocals. It was then that he fell in love with music as a whole. In 2004 he started to take music seriously after working night and day recording and engineering his best friend Josiah "JoJo" Martin(Gospel Artist) and has been singing, engineering, and writing songs since then. He has written over 50 songs and 100 hooks in 6 years.

As a producer at Lead Alliance, his latest projects include ‘Don’t Blame Me’, ‘Yea!!’, and ‘9 to 5′ in which he collaborated with Kajmir Royale and Desmond Washington in a group they call L.E.A.(League of Extraordinary Artists). They have also produced a list of mixtape tracks for artist such as Wiz Khalifa, Gudda Gudda, Ya Boy, Soulja Boy, and many more. Currently they are working on new material for an up & coming artist Adam Duncan.
