Bernal stated, that she decided to concentrate the project with the Wayuu because their mochilas or SUSU bags have become fairly widespread and widely used as an element of fashion in Colombia.
Each piece mochila was exhibited at the Belive 2009 organization benefit, and auctioned to the highest bidder.

"By introducing these artisan items to the world will help the communities and become important sources of income that will be returned to the betterment of the communities and the prolongation of their unique cultures." Bernal
If you walk down any street in the metropolitan areas of Bogota, Cali, or Medellin you will be sure to see a woman or a man with their susu mochila walking down the street.
