Under Armour Inc. has inked a multiyear deal with the National Basketball Association that will allow the activewear company to use marquee players in their NBA uniforms to promote its basketball footwear in promotional campaigns, brand advertising and at retail. These will include Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks, Derrick Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Bobcats and Greivis Vasquez of the Memphis Grizzlies.
As part of the deal, Under Armour and the NBA will refurbish five basketball courts around the country through the NBA FIT program. Under Armour will refurbish an additional five courts as well.
